Love With a Capital L...A Storytelling Event

Love with a Capital L is an intimate storytelling gathering that celebrates love in all its forms.

Join us for a relaxed afternoon of real-life stories, shared over slow-brewed coffee and home-made cake, created with care and intention. This is a space for connection, reflection, and community — a pause from the rush of everyday life.

Valentine’s Day often focuses on romantic love alone. This gathering opens the circle wider. You’re invited to listen to and share stories of love as it truly shows up in life: romantic love, friendship, heartbreak, first kisses, the love of a parent, the moment a child is born, love for animals, for the planet, for companions who’ve walked alongside us for years. All forms of love are welcome.

The afternoon includes open mic storytelling, with a limited number of short slots available for guests who wish to share a story, as well as a surprise creative performance to close the gathering. Throughout the event, guests can enjoy artisan, slow-brewed coffee and home-made cake, creating a warm and grounded atmosphere that invites presence and ease.

This is a chance to enjoy the simple things: meaningful stories, good coffee, and genuine human connection.

The event takes place on Friday, 14 February 2026, from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at the SoyLites Studio in Linden. The ticket price is R150 per person and includes coffee, cake, and the surprise performance.

Hosted by Grin n Tonic Productions and Koffie met…, this gathering is rooted in a shared belief in the power of stories and simple rituals to bring people together. Love with a Capital L is an invitation to sit, listen, speak, and leave feeling a little more connected than when you arrived.
